  • Q. Do I need to get a physician’s authorization to use your services?
    A. No. You don’t need pre-authorization, pre-qualification, certification or even a prescription to use Healthcare Solutions’ services. We do coordinate with medical providers, when needed, to ensure continuity and quality of care. But, you make all the choices when it comes to the services you want and how often you use them.
  • Q. Will I have a choice of who comes to my home?
    A. Yes. You are in charge of the who, what, where and when in regards to all aspects of our services. We always try to accommodate any requests you may have for a caregiver (as allowed by law) and can usually take the guesswork out of the process during the consultation.
  • Q. Does my Long Term Care Insurance pay for care?
    A. If you have a Long Term Care Insurance Policy, the first step is to verify your coverage. We are experts at helping people navigate the claims process for private insurance policies (such as long-term care insurance). We’re happy to help with the entire process including providing any documentation you need for reimbursement by an insurance carrier.
  • Q: Do you provide services in assisted living facilities?
    A:  Yes. We go where we are needed. This includes, hospitals, rehabilitation centers and assisted living facilities. Also, we work very closely with many of the local assisted living facilities to coordinate care before, during and after transitioning between residences.
  • Q: How quickly can home care services be provided/started?
    A:  Generally services can be provided within a 24-hour period and often the same day.
